How to Promote the Students into the ERP?
Student Registration Module > Promotion
Step 1 - Go the Promotion form of the Student Registration Module
Step 2 - Select the Campus, Institute, Course, Class and the promotion class
Step 3 - Select the Academic Session of the student where the student currently present
Radio button use -
1. In Same Session - Mainly selected for promoting the students from odd to even semester (not applicable for yearly session)
2. In Next Session - For promoting the students from even to odd semester (applicable for all promotion for yearly courses)
3. Same Class in next session - for same class in the upcoming session
> If the course is yearly based then always select "In next session" button untile the student need not to promote in the same class.
> Select the From Verified Continuation forms - if the user wants the students whose continuation form is verified.
Step 3 - Select Fill Student button.
Step 4 - Select the students from the list whom the institute wants to promote.
Users can also set provisional promotions by defining the date range.
Step 5 - Select Save for promotion
Key Point - Ensure the user login session will be the student's current session only after that student is shown in the list
