How to start Exam Module for College/University?

Before starting the exam module the user needs to make sure they have their college/university exam scheme with them and sample marks sheet of a student. It will be more helpful for them to start the module after that.

For Example - University conduct 2 Exam Internal and External and at the end both the student result depends on the total of both the exams. 

As per the above scheme the user needs to create total three exams - Internal, External and Final exam in which the total of first two exam will be calculated. 

Step 1 - Go to the Exams form of Exam Module and create the required exams 



Click on the Add New button and select the mandtory fields as shown on screenshot below.

Note - 

1. The evaluation type exam should be the parent of the depended exams like as per the example the total of Internal and External will comes under the Final exam so the Final exam will be the parent of the Internal and External Exam. 
2. Exam display order should be correct as per the above example the Final will have 3, External 2, and Internal will have 1 order. 
3. The user can select the required check box for extra settings.  
4. Exam should be marked as active.

Step 2 - Go to the Exam Subjects form and mention the minimum and maximum marks for the exams 



If the user wants the ERP to calculate the Grade of the final total then the user has to select the "Grade Based" chekc box in the required exam for the subjects.



Step 3 - Create the master for grading pattern.

Click on the Add New button, give the name to the pattern and the range type



Click on the Add button for inserting the range and grade



After adding all the ranges click on the Save button. 





Step 4 - Give relation of exam to the grading pattern through the "Exam Grade Subjects" form



Click on the Add New button and select the mandatory fields, fill, select and Save.



Step 5 - Create the Exam Setting through which the subjects will be shown on students. 



Click the Add New Button and select the required fields 



Go to the Grace and Subject tab for selecting the subject relation and Save.



Step 6 - Create the Evaluation of the exam through which the calculation will be made. 



Click on the Add New button and insert the mandatory details, select the dependend exam and the option of calculation. 

Like as per the example the Evaluation exam will be the Final and the depended exam will be the Internal and External





Step 7 - Now user can enter the marks of the students through the Exam Marks form of Exam Module 



Click on Add New button and select the mandatory fields. The user can upload the marks in two ways student wise and subject wise



After selection click on the Fill button and enter the marks of the student then select and Save. 







Step 8 - After inserting the marks the user has to evaluate the marks through the Process Evaluation form. 

Select the mandatory fields and student then click on Process Evaluation check box > Show Marks 





Once the Process Evaluation completed the user can generate the TR Report and Marks sheet of the students.

NotesNote - Every time the canges made in student marks or subject details then user has to do the Process Evaluation otherwise the changes will not be reflected on student.
