How to start student attendance through the Time Table Module in ERP?    

Before starting the attendance as per the timetable, make sure the attendance process is completed. To start the process, go through the article - Process of starting Student Attendance in the IFW ERP for College/University.

Step 1 - Once the attendance process is completed, go to the Timetable Settings form and create the setting for the course. 

 
Step 2 - Click the "Add New" button to create the setting, fill in the mandatory fields, scroll down to select the class for which the setting is required, then save the setting.




InfoExclude Lunch From Periods - check box will be used if the institute requires excluding the specific time of lunch from the period.
Step 3 - Go to the Lunch Settings form to set the lunch time. 

If the user has selected the Exclude lunch from period then click on the Add new button and insert the timing of the lunch - 


If the Exclude Lunch from period check box is deselected in the timetable settings - 


Step 4 - Go to the load setting form and search for the teacher's name to save the load of the employee


Select the SubjectId check box and save the entry.



Step 5 - Go to the Teacher Color Code form to set the colour of the teacher for better visibility of the period on the timetable.



Step 6 - Go to the Timetable form to set the period of the classes.


Once the mandatory field is selected, click on the add classes button and the active check box 


Go to the week column, right-click on the period and add the relation of the teacher 


 
Select the mandatory field and add the entry. 


Once the entry is added, save the timetable for the class.



Step 7 - Once the timetable is created, go to the Preference Settings form of the Utility Module. 
Select the setting module as the Student Attendance.


Set the Student Attendance Based On Active Time Table to get the period as per the timetable. Click on Yes and save the setting.

The setting will be saved as per the required institute and session. 




Now, whenever the teacher marks the student attendance on the Daily Attendance, the period will be visible as per the timetable.
